Assembling the Parts
After 3 months of heavy purchasing its time to put it all togather!
ITS JUST ABOUT READY! The shortblock arrived at the Edmonton Internation Airport on August 10th exactly 5 Business days after i ordered and paid at DSS Racing. So here is the current parts list that has to go into the Mustang. Remove old engine, strip off serpantine setup. Dig out a few basic parts from old engine. Such as: Fuel Rails, Regulator, and some misc connections and fittings.
Martin from AFI Performance will be doing the short block switch over and assembling my new engine. He is an experienced dyno tuner and engine builder. This was probably the smartest choice for me, an in house dyno chassie, custom ecu programing for my supercharger and engine combination. I will head out to the airport with the digital camera, pay my duty and importing fee's and pickup the engine. After calling dam near every performance shop in Edmonton Martin was the only guy that acutally seemed to want my business! He offered to pick up the short block at the airport (I dont have a truck) he was also prepared with towing services etc to take the mustang over to his shop. I really dont like to piss around and when i find someone who will step up and take charge of a project then thats the guy i want working on my vehicle.
