on July 4th /07 i decided the front bumper was coming off i was tired of all the yellow chips showing up. The roads have alot of gravel on them and really beat up the front end. There was some cracks in the plastic from the previous owner driving into parking stops. Using some fiberglass and matting i fixed them up a coat of bondo then a coat of glazing putty and it came out pretty good for a rookie bodyman / painter. This is now my 3rd piece i have painted and its getting easier.

| There was several cracks in the bumper from the previous owner driving into curbs parking etc. |
I had to sand alof of the paint off to get most of the chips out. Really i have no idea "LOL" its all a learning experience. |

|
| It was nice out so i took the bumper outside and did some sanding on it. |
I pickup up a can of black primer spray paint. And covered a few the bumper to see how my body work was coming. I need alot more practice. |

| Thats how many spots still needed filling after i let the primer dry and sanded it. |
Here is the front of the turbo mustang with the bumper cover off. |

Now that it was looking better i sprayed a coat of acrylic enamel (centari) 99a black to be a bit more exact. The same as the hood |
The areas that slide into the headlight assembly and hold the bumper skin in place are black now instead of yellow it looks so much better on the car. |
It was cheap it was fun and next time i am sure it will look even better. Soon i will attempt to paint the entire car (maybe this winter driving it is to much fun!)
